iPhone 4 / iPhone 4G UK Release: iMovie and Probably iWork. US, UK, Japan, France, or Germany, the iPhone 4 release date is set for June 24th. You'll be able to pre-order the new iPhone over a week before--beginning June 15th.

The iPhone 4 is set to come to another 18 countries by July 2010 (these include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland).

During the unveiling, Jobs mentioned that the new iPhone will be released in the US, Japan, France, Germany and the United Kingdom on June 21 but he failed to mention the other countries.

Jobs showed off the new iPhone 4. (It's not the iPhone HD or the iPhone 4G (as we thought it might be), though it is, to a certain extent, both of those.) Jobs' WWDC keynote was focused like a laser on Apple's second-most-important product. This, to me, is the sign of a good showman. J
