Gossip Girl Star, Chace Crawford Arrested for a Marijuana Possession.'Gossip Girl' actor Chace Crawford was arrested just after midnight Friday in Plano, Texas, for possession of marijuana, police tell TMZ. As he was in possession of under two ounces, the offense has been deemed a misdemeanor.
The actor, 24, was inside a friend's car in the parking lot of Ringo's Pub when police swooped in the early hours of Friday morning.
He was booked into jail and charged with possession of marijuana under 2oz, before being released.
Crawford, who plays Manhattan rich kid Nate Archibald in the hit show, had just returned from a family trip to Mexico.
Crawford's next big screen role will be in the new movie Twelve, which also stars rapper 50 Cent and Kiefer Sutherland.
