Michael Lynche Voted Out from American Idol Season 9
Lynche Got Kicked Off from American Idol Season 9. The three contenders from the current season of American Idol who will be returning to their hometown for a visit have been chosen.
Lynche, who was saved by the four-judge panel during the top nine stage of the competition, got the boot after a shaky rendition of "Will You Be There" from "Free Willy" on movie songs week.
Initially, Lynche was recognized mainly for his back story: His wife gave birth while he competed in the Hollywood phase of "Idol."
